                                         Thoracic Pain
JW is a 50 year old paraplegic who had severe thoracic pain.  His previous doctors saw a cyst on his spinal cord.  They thought this was causing pain and subsequently removed it with major neurosurgery. Unfortunately, there was no relief of pain.  He was sent to The Centeno-Schultz Clinic by his doctor.  We diagnosed a thoracic muscle enthesopathy at the rib insertions of multiple muscles (these are the only thing left holding his ribcage up).  We performed IMS and prolotherapy under x-ray for the ribs.  Since his treatments at The Centeno-Schultz Clinic, his pain has gone from near suicidal to minimal.

WP came to us with mid thoracic pain and radiation burning. He had tried epidurals and facets procedures prior to coming to The Centeno-Schultz Clinic.  After evaluation, we decided to continue with the facet procedures and also include some prolotherapy. As a result of his treatments, WP was able to discontinue medication use and his radiating pain subsided.  He also had a decrease in thoracic pain and increase in range of motion.

A 30 something year old mother was diagnosed with a rare tumor (Chondrosarcoma). She had the tumor removed, andl hardware was implanted through a spine surgeon. Her pain was so severe post-operatively, that she was on two anti-convulsant drugs, two pain pills, and two muscle relaxers as well as a Lidocaine patch. All of this medication cost $1,200 per month. Even with all of this, her pain was still an 8-9/10. She was treated with 8 IMS visits (IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation)).

Results: her pain is now down to a 1-2/10 and she is off of all medications after only 8 treaments.
