Helpful Hints


 
  • Wear loose fitting clothes if possible.
  • Expect to spend between 1-2 hours in the clinic for your evaluation.
  • You MUST have a written referral from your treating doctor.
  • If you are part of an HMO or an insurance plan that requires prior authorization to see a specialist, it is your responsibility to get this authorization prior to your first visit.
  • We do not accept referrals from attorneys or participate in medical-legal examinations. We only testify in court on patients we have treated.
  • We do not perform IME examinations for the purposes of court or the legal system.
  • We do not see patients for the purposes of prescribing narcotic medications. While we do rarely use these medications only with patients who are resistant to other treatments, we believe that these medications are only an adjunct to other non-medication based forms of treatment.
